The day I posted that ridiculous crack “Mello Meme” on MB just to see people’s reaction, one of Cat’s friends posted on Twitter:

“I am so sick of the seme/uke dynamic in MxM. THAT IS NOT HOW REAL RELATIONSHIPS WORK SHJFKDFKHDNK”

I don’t know if that was directed at me, but it makes me lol. I love how offended people get if I make Mello femme and Matt badass (even jokingly) after the BASTARDIZATION of the characters all the new fans have declared “canon” despite the lots and lots of NOTHING they have to back it up.

If you people don’t like seeing Mello cuddle, then stop making Matt be the most annoying Mary Sue I’ve ever had the misfortune to read over and over and over and over again. I’m not asking you to conform to my tastes, but quit thinking less of me for not pretending your way is canon. This hypocrisy pisses me off.
